Community Beautification

ILLUMINATA believes that we all have a responsibility to contribute to the environment we share.

One of our volunteer commitments is with Brookside Gardens, Montgomery County's, award winning, 50 acre public display garden located within Wheaton Regional Park. We worked with the gardeners there to eradicate some invasive plants from a wooded area in the park. Invasive plants are non-native plant species that take over and crowd-out native vegetation. It's hard, laborious work, and when it's complete, it won't even look any different than it did before, but it is very important work.

Another donation involved the lighting at the Community House in Birmingham, Michigan.
